NETWORKS
A computer network or data network is a telecommunications network that allows computers to exchange data. In computer networks, networked computing devices pass data to each other along data connections. The connections (network links) between nodes are established using either cable media or wireless media. The best-known computer network is the Internet.
Network computer devices that originate, route and terminate the data are called network nodes. Nodes can include hosts such as servers and personal computers, as well as networking hardware. Two devices are said to be networked when a device is able to exchange information with another device.
Computer networks support applications such as access to the World Wide Web, shared use of application and storage servers, printers, and fax machines, and use of email and instant messaging applications. Computer networks differ in the physical media used to transmit their signals, the communications protocols to organize network traffic, the network's size, topology and organizational intent.
The unit of networks is very extence so I´m only going to talk abaut the different types of networks.
Types of networks
● Depending on its size or area of coverage:
(PAN) (Personal Area Networks): communicating devices within a few meters, for example, a phone with a computer.
(LAN) (Local Area Networks): small area, like a home, a school, college or business.
(MAN) (Metropolitan Area Networks): for one city.
(WAN) (Wide Area Networks): connect equipment between cities, countries or continents.
● Depending on your level of access or privacy:
Internet: A worldwide network of computer networks. Have public access.
Intranet: A local network that uses Internet tools (web, mail, ftp, ...). It can be considered as a private Internet operating within the same institution.
Extranet: A virtual private network, that is part of the Intranet of an organization that extends beyond users.
● According to their functional relationship:
Client-Server Clients use the shared resources and services provided by servers: web, data, printing etc..
Networking peer or P2P (Peer to Peer): All devices can act as clients or servers.

Selfie
A selfie is a type of self-portrait photograph, typically taken with a hand-held digital camera or camera phone. Selfies are often associated with social networking. They are often casual, are typically taken either with a camera held at arm's length or in a mirror, and typically include either only the photographer or the photographer and as many people as can be in focus. Selfies taken that involve multiple people are known as "group selfies".
History
Robert Cornelius, an American pioneer in photography, produced a daguerreotype of himself in 1839 which is also one of the first photographs of a person. Because the process was slow he was able to uncover the lens, run into shot for a minute or more, and then replace the lens cap. He recorded on the back "The first light Picture ever taken. 1839."
The debut of the portable Kodak Brownie box camera in 1900 led to photographic self-portraiture becoming a more widespread technique. The method was usually by mirror and stabilizing the camera either on a nearby object or on a tripod while framing via a viewfinder at the top of the box.[4] Russian Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna at the age of 13 was one of the first teenagers to take her own picture using a mirror to send to a friend in 1914. In the letter that accompanied the photograph, she wrote, "I took this picture of myself looking at the mirror. It was very hard as my hands were trembling."
The earliest usage of the word selfie can be traced as far back as 2002. It first appeared in an Australian internet forum (ABC Online) on 2002 September 13.
Goodbye 'selfie', now that takes a 'braggie'
On the Internet, no run, fly and fashions last as a cigarette in the house of Big Brother. The Oxford Dictionary just choose 'selfie' as word of the year. But in the universe that 2.0 to torpedo your contacts with pictures of your holy presence smiling and pouting starts charging. And there are already parts: the 'braggie' (to brag, boast that means). The term refers to the hobby so fashionable to upload photos to social networks to brag to all your contacts. It may be because you're in the front row of a concert with tickets agotadísimas, just taking a cocktail in a VIP area, the boarding pass to a heavenly or enjoying beach holidays in the Southern Hemisphere while Europe freezes target average cold.

Phubbing
For about five years ago , we've all experienced at least once " phubbing " during a meeting or a family meal. This massive practice lacked a name until recently but its consequences were significant for any diner . It began the year 2007 with the birth of the smartphone or smart phone , summarizing in a few inches the power of a desktop computer. With the ability to stay connected to the Internet anytime and anywhere, this obsessive practice that perpetuate many without even knowing it was generalized .
The " phubbing " (a term formed from the English words phone and snubbing ) is the act of belittling who accompanies us to pay more attention to mobile or other electronic devices that person. It has recently been named in U.S. and many virtual platforms are actively fighting this rude habit. His arguments refer to the most basic protocol when sitting at the table , which criticizes start eating before everyone has been served food dish or take other diners , and therefore condemns the act of ignoring who have to side .

Códigos QR
Periodically, a new technological tool becomes the great promise of marketing. The bluetooth as a way to launch promotions by location, check-in applications like Foursquare, NFC connectivity system to provide interactivity to outdoor advertising, augmented reality ... QR codes fatten this list.
A QR code is a useful for storing information on a dot matrix or two-dimensional bar code created by Japanese corporation Denso Wave, a subsidiary of Toyota, in 1994 module. Characterized by the three squares that are in the corners and to detect the position of the code reader. The "QR" is derived from the acronym English phrase Quick Response, as the creators had intended the code to allow its contents to be read at high speed. QR Codes are common in Japan, where they are the most popular two-dimensional code in there..
These tools are not dead, in fact you can see on train tickets and plane tickets, concerts and in some print ads and marquees. However, between the company "remains a great unknown", they recognize from the portal Ticketea ticket. According to the MMA association, only 12% of mobile users use them.
Advantages
QR codes have some advantages over traditional bar codes . In addition to having greater information capacity , do not require a specific reader , which helps to save costs. But above all , have a great potential in the advertising field . "It is a technology that allows you to interact with the client and , therefore , allows for great creativity." Moreover, " can lead to different profiles of people , not just young people ." According to a recent report by Accenture and Ametic employer , the penetration rate of mobile Internet among Spaniards aged 40 to 49 years is 44 %. From age 50 , 34% are connected to the Internet from a mobile device. However, very few brands take advantage of them . " For users bother to read a QR code with your smartphone , it needs to deliver tangible value . Not enough to redirect them to a corporate website , "says David Castaneda, founder and executive accounts Selenus a marketing and communications agency pioneering the use of QR codes. " To read one of these , users have to open an app on your smartphone and take a picture , a little effort will not do unless it receives a fee ," adds.

Don Juan Tenorio
The work of Juan Tenorio is funny and interesting because we have to do a triptic in publisher.
The teacher send the information of the theatre of Juan Tenorio that it will be presented in the Juanelo Turriano.
I'm doing the work with my friend in the class but the work hasn't finish yet. Work in publisher is not easy for us because it is a new tool that we never use, but we will use publisher to improve more and more. From now on publisher will be a very useful tool.

Operating systems
The first thing that I like was choose our theme. The second thing that I like was work who ever I want: my friend Alvaro Collado.
We talk about the theme, search information, we take decisions and we make the powerpoint.
There were cooperation and lots of arguments but finally we reach a treat.
When we talk to the class Alvaro talked about the different operating systems and their distribution, and I talked about the software, the types of software, the operating systems and their history.
The mayority use the operating systems by a mechanis methot, but they don't know the level of complex.
With this work I learnt a lor about the operating systems because is a very interesting work and it has a lot of utility for my life.
